Aluminum and stainless steel structure and ceramic strike-face for full spine, neck and head protection from rear shot angles. Right/left configurable/optional armored bolster for hip and upper thigh protection. Rated to defeat:

7.62x39 (AK-47) ball and API
7.62x51 M80 ball
5.56x45 M855 green tip
7.62x54 LPS ball at Muzzle Velocity
B32 API at 100 meter range
Also rated to defeat templated IED threat fragment (.50 cal FSP) at 3300 fps. Tested in accordance with MIL-STD-662F. Vehicle specific mounting bracket included. Seat weight is approximately 60 lbs including cushion upholstery and provides effective rear protection in lieu of rear cab armor and ballistic glass.
